Gose (Sculpture)

The Gose

This figure was going to be part of a larger work illustrating a Japanese ghost story “The Yurei of the Blind Female Musician” – Gose were visually impaired Japanese women who often made a living as musicians.  So far I have only made the Gose.

She is made using a Homyl 1/6 female posable doll.  I made the shamisen, hands, feet and a head for it using SuperSculpy then clothed it, stiffened the clothing with Paverpol and spray painted the whole thing.
