Designed in Cuba: Cold War Graphics: House of Illustration: October 2019; 6/10

Time Out gave this show a very generous five stars. It was certainly interesting and some of the graphics were excellent but that was it really - it was mainly of interest as graphics, the art part was a bit disappointing. The other part that I didn't enjoy was the fetishization of rifles which was a big feature of these posters that aimed to support violent revolution.
